SHOP TIL WE DROP

Australia has had another bumper crop of editorials featuring models ranging from size 10-16, courtesy of the June 2010 issue of Shop Til You Drop. While the abundance of content is heartening, it is a shame that the Editor felt she had to point out that this was NOT to be thought of as a specifically ‘plus size edition’ (page 3), a hesitation of fully embracing larger sizes sadly reinforced by the mostly size 14-16-maximum of the clothing used in the editorials.

Still, it is a huge advance of size diversity for this magazine, and there is hope that it was successful enough to force the use of a wider range of model sizes in future issues. I have posted the editorials in full, as well as other relevant content that I thought would be of interest.
